Media Programme European Lead
Location: Remote in Europe, with travel to key org events
Duration: Fixed-term contract, maternity cover (January–September 2026)
Languages: English (required) and at least one other European language (French, German, Spanish, or Italian preferred)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced communications & media professional with strong networks across the European creator and media ecosystems to develop the News Antennas community in Europe.
This role focuses on community building, developing strong partnerships with platforms and creator agencies, working closely with aligned communications organisations, and devising innovative program delivery, ensuring that diverse European voices are represented in News Antennas’ nature and climate storytelling.
The ideal candidate understands the European media landscape, is fluent in digital-first content culture, and is comfortable bridging independent news creators and media influencers with global climate conversations. Reporting experience in nature and climate or adjacent topics is an advantage.
This is a highly collaborative role, reporting to the Bellwethers’ Executive Director, and working closely with the core Bellwethers team and News Antennas hubs in Latin America and other markets as the programme expands.
